چکیده
Abstract Background Cervical cancer is a major public health problem for women. Accurate staging may lead to proper management of cervical cancer. We retrospectively reviewed all patients with who underwent pre-treatment MRI between January 2009 and December 2018 analyzed the correlation clinical staging. Results Correlation overall by percent agreement moderate (73.9%), but kappa coefficient showed slight correlation. The findings in vaginal invasion, pelvic sidewall adjacent organ spreading distant also moderate-to-strong (ranging from 67.6 91.9%) examinations or weighted (K = 0.000–0.128 w ). Conclusion In cancer, pretreatment provides higher spatial soft tissue resolution which can define tumor extent, including more accurate assessment size (due multiplanar evaluation), parametrial invasion. This could potentially reduction morbidity invasive investigation such as cystoscopy proctoscopy.

MRI for pretreatment lymph node staging in uterine cervical cancer.
OBJECTIVE The purpose of this article is to assess the accuracy of MRI in detecting pelvic and paraaortic lymph node metastasis from uterine cervical cancer using various imaging criteria. CONCLUSION Although MRI analysis resulted in relatively low sensitivity, size and margin (spiculated or lobulated) were useful criteria for predicting lymph node metastasis from cervical cancer.

Introduction: Computed tomography (CT) imaging is the choice of investigation for evaluation of extent of tumor under the mucosa, locally and regionally. This study was undertaken to assess the accuracy of preoperative CT imaging in the staging of carcinoma of the larynx and hypopharynx. Materials and Methods: In this retrospective study, all cases who were clinically (c) staged T3–T4 and w...
